
Mandy Smith, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Child Development, both from Appalachian State University. Passionate about supporting children and families, she specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and trauma-informed supportive therapy. Mandy is dedicated to helping children and adolescents heal, emphasizing the vital role of caregiver engagement in fostering lasting change.
In her practice, Mandy integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to empower clients and guide them toward meaningful progress. Her client-centered approach, rooted in empathy, patience, and collaboration, reflects both her professional expertise and personal values.
Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time outdoors and with family and friends. She draws from her personal experiences to enrich her therapeutic work.
